Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was produced at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the do her job. Silk played in a variety of commercials for kids. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999, and during the following decade relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married at the civil ceremony on took place in December. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May 2016. Silk is known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk announced to the fans the joyous news that she had become pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the series' premiere. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show was coming back for a fourth season of the production. The fourth season began on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top Television Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an extensive online presence on social media.
