Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials as a child. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred from St. Thomas University, 1997. Early theater work includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto to Los Angeles within the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows in an Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk is famous for her role on television as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by for the Gemini Awards. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013 on Twitter, announced her intention to return the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
