Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of life, including attending rehearsals and watching of plays. Silk was featured in many commercials while she was a young child. In 1997, she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Early theater work includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 to continue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. Following her conversion to Judaism, they renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May of 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20th that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. Silk's portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple of 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Due to the show's popularity, Silk has earned a significant presence on social media.
