Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo on the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories are of attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mother do her job. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she began to meet him in 2007 during an acting workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk gave birth to an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for the Fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren the actress (Zoie) one of their most favored television couple. Entertainment Television.
