Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk played a role as a young actress in commercials. In 1997, she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to advance, then to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple got engaged in 2009, and then married in a civil ceremony that was held in December. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton at the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk is known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the good information that she was pregnant during the filming of Season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase at a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the show's premiere. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to return to the set of the show. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the popularity of the show, Silk has garnered a prominent presence on social media.
