Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor popular for her portrayal of Bo on The Showcase program Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, a professor and Peter Silk who was a well-known actor, director writer, producer, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared in several commercials in her early years. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto in order to develop her acting career in November 1999. She later, in the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was legally married in December of 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at ceremony that was a Jewish celebration in Fredericton after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk got a baby who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was recognized by for the Gemini Awards. As of 2009, Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the season finale. In January 2013, she made the announcement to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. Silk posted on Twitter on the 20th of June that she's back in the saddle to begin her work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the fourth season's production. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! Magazine has declared them to be the most popular Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's successes have led to an extensive online presence on social networks.
