Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. She earned a Bachelors in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met at an actor'sworkshop located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009 before getting married at an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at the Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013, a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk fell pregnant during the final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. The character she played Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an extensive online presence through social media.
