Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of the drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom work. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. After getting engaged in 2008, the couple married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton at an Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk fell pregnant during the final production of the season 3 finale, and revealed this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return in the production. Season Four premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren the actress (Zoie) among their favorite television couples. Entertainment Television.
