Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to practice sessions for plays. Silk was a small actress in commercials. In 1997, she graduated with a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to advance, then to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale. She announced the news to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production was underway for Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4 of the show. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an extensive online presence using social networks.
