Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also teaches the art of drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest impressions were of rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was just a child. Silk received her degree from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at a minimum two productions in the early years: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999, and during the decade that followed, she relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Los Angeles Actors Workshop in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married during a civil ceremony December that same year. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son with the name of Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13 on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is famous for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was recognized by the Gemini Awards. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of season three. On January 6, 2013, she confirmed this to viewers at Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the set of the show. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple of 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an enormous online following on social networks.
